Prestigiosa ed antica residenza fu costruita nei primi anni del XIX sec. dai Conti Malnati, famiglia nobile milanese. Nel 1821 venne poi acquistata da Ermenegildo Castiglioni, che pur possedendo un elegante palazzo a Milano, preferì soggiornare insieme alla sua famiglia nella villa indunese, poichè immersa nel verde e nella tranquillità. La villa fu infine aperta al pubblico e trasformata in albergo nel 1988.

This old prestigious residence was built at the beginning of XIX century by the Malnati, a noble family from Milan. It was bought in 1821 by Ermenegildo Castiglioni, who despite having a mansion in Milan, preferred to spend time with his family in the serene and calm surrounds of the Villa. The willa was opened to the public and converted into a hotel in 1988.
